200s count handwoven unbleached kora Kurta with signature in-house detail and hand beaten brass buttons. Handstitched buttonhole in red. Side kalli panel and pockets. 

This silhouette is our contemporary take on the traditional 'kurta' or 'punjabi' worn by men as a cultural dress of the Indian subcontinent for decades. It was only post the British colonization of India that the concept of this garment pair spread across other parts of the world. Ever since Indians adopted the Kurta Pajama as ethnic wear all over the country, this garment has evolved and been re-invented numerous times.
