Delivery Time
Delivery time for your order starts from the date of confirmation of your order, which is notified via email to you, after your order is placed. Kindly do not forget to mention your email address, via which we will contact you.
Any product ordered in our site, will be shipped within 7-14 days of your order confirmation.
We use the most reliable courier services for deliveries within India via DTDC and internationally, Aramex, UPS and Fedex.
Once your order is placed, along with your shipping confirmation email, we will send you a tracking number and link to our courier company so that you can track your order.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts, orders can get delayed outside of our control. Since we work with the handwoven weaver clusters, and each base fabric used to make your product is made / woven by hand, at times delays at the ground level is unavoidable and beyond our control. In the unforeseen instance that this may happen we will inform you via email, mentioning the timeline for the estimated delivery. In this instance, you may choose to continue or cancel your order and the order amount will be refunded to you as per the terms and conditions of order cancellation.
We, at Paromita Banerjee make every effort to ensure that each transaction at our website is as seamless as possible. We take great care in delivering each item to you and our products adhere to the highest quality standards. Each item is made by hand and the fabrics are handwoven. As such, the imperfections arising on the base fabric is the inherent characteristics of the fabric and is proof of the authenticity of the handweave. Each product would have passed through the hands of multiple artisans before finally reaching you.
Shipping Policy
We take great care in delivering your products to you, anywhere in the world, no matter where you live.
Shipping within India: We offer free shipping for all orders shipped within India and are shipped via express shipping. The estimated delivery time will differ with each order. Typically we take around 7-10 business days to ship an order. For deliveries within India, all expected taxes and duties are included in the price of the product listed on our website.
Global shipping outside India: For international deliveries, we charge a flat shipping amount, with respect to the weight of your products. Typically we take around 7-14 business days to ship an order. Please refer to the “Shipping rates” below :
- Under 1 kg / 1000 grams : Rs 2000
- Above 1 kg / 1000 grams to 1.5 kg/ 1500 grams : Rs 2200
For deliveries outside India, All our product prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties. Before accepting your parcel, any custom duties and local taxes have to be borne by you and to be paid to our shipping partner and courier agent, at the time of the parcel reaching you. The amount of duties and taxes on each parcel will depend on the policies of your destination country. Payment of these is necessary for delivery. As much as we would like, we are unable to advise what amount this would be, as duties vary widely from country to country. There might sometimes be a delay
Please note, we at Paromita Banerjee take no responsibility for non delivery of orders in cases where taxes and duties are not accepted and settled by the recipient at the delivery address and we will not provide any refunds in such cases.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE : Please note that we will not be able to keep to our shipping schedules and commitment with an incomplete address or a wrong contact number. We do not deliver to PO Box or drop box addresses. If there are any unexpected delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions or strikes, we will keep you posted.
