Pricing policy
For deliveries within India, all expected taxes and duties are included in the price of the product listed on our website.
For deliveries outside India, All our product prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties or any transaction fee that your bank may charge you, for making a payment in a different currency to your holding account. We reserve the right to right to adjust any prices or shipping amounts at any time without notice.
We have made every effort to display the colours of our products that appear on www.paromita-banerjee.com as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors, tablets and mobile devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of a colour will be completely accurate. Please be aware, despite our best efforts, variation in style, colour , size, shape and look may occur. Though it will be our best endeavor to keep you satisfied of your product, If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please review our Returns and Exchanges section for further assistance.
 Return and Refund :
Given the nature of our products, We, at Paromita Banerjee, reserve the right to determine whether an item is in good condition, and eligible for exchange. If the returned product in our sole judgment does not fall in the good condition and has been used or damaged before the return. We reserve the right not to refund any money paid by you for the product.
Each return or exchange request is handled on a case to case basis and we request you to get in touch with our tea, for prompt resolution.
Before accepting the package from our courier agent, you are advised to check the ordered products and quantity in the invoice attached with your parcel. In case of any discrepancy found, or damage to packet is noticed, please leave a suitable remark on receipt to the courier agent for accepting the delivery of the products.
In case the product is with a manufacturing defect or a wrong product has been received, kindly contact/email at paromitabanerjee.online@gmail.com within 48 Hours of receiving the products. Your email should contain comprehensive details along with images of the defects/complaints of the product delivered to you.Please note, at present we do not accept exchange / return for international orders, so kindly bear with us.
We employ the highest quality of craftsmanship and every item undergoes a stringent quality check. However, each of our items are handwoven by weaver communities throughout India and the materials passes through hands of various artisans after getting finished in our studio in Kolkata. They are handmade with love. And certain imperfections on the surface of the fabric or product is a part of the inherent characteristics of handmade, and not necessarily a sign of reject. But we do also understand that the products you have liked on the screen might not evoke the same emotion, once delivered. Hence we are happy to take a refund or a return.
Your purchase is eligible for return or exchange only if it meets the following conditions :
- An incorrect product has been delivered to you , that is, the product does not match the item in the order confirmation email.
-If the product you have received has a genuine quality/manufacturing defects.
If your product purchase meets our return criteria as stated above, please contact us at paromitabanerjee.online@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with the following information from your end :
- Order number
- Delivery address
- Specific reason for return and incase of a defective or incorrect product, please support with an image of the item purchased.
We will email you back for further action, once we verify the manufacturing defects.
Once we confirm your refund / exchange , For us to initiate a return or exchange, the product must be received by us, within 10 days from the date of advice from our team via email. Items should be in their original packaging to make sure they are adequately protected during transit. Please ensure that the product you return / exchange is unused, unworn and the original tags are intact.
No refunds will be given if the customer has provided wrong or incomplete shipping address, there are 3 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and / or the package is refused by the recipient. For global shipping outside India, incase the customer refuses to pay the Duty as mandated by the respective country of shipment, then we at , Paromita Banerjee will not be liable to refund any amount for such orders.
Cancellation Policy
Please note an order can only be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. Once the order is processed after 24 hours, no cancellation request will be entertained, since by then, we would have already started processing your order.
Kindly also note, there may be certain unfortunate circumstances in which we are unable to accept your order, and must cancel your order. This may happen due to situations that include limitations on quantites available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information or any defect regarding the quality of the product. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion to refuse or cancel any order for the above reasons or more. We will contact you if all or a portion of your order is cancelled or if any additional information is required before accepting the said order. If your order is cancelled by us, after your credit card has been charged or bank account has been debited, the said amount will be reversed back in your credit card or bank account as applicable, within 10-14 working days. The same will be informed by us, over email
