Our inhouse single edition Boro quilt uses our handwoven fabrics in silks from past stories to stitch together a rich tapestry of handwoven colour blocking using jamdani in silks and silk matka. All assembled and stitched in our studio in Kolkata . If you zoom in, you will find the jamdani motifs done in gold zari, there would be gold zari stripes too. Light kantha done by hand every few intervals all through the quilt. The reverse side is a handwoven cotton in olive green.
Besides being a collector's edition, this is also a statement piece . Would you agree ?!
