Ajrakh natural dyed dress
Natural dyed dress printed in handblock Ajrakh technique, in madder dye with striped kalli detail. We love the contrast of the mustard kalli with the rust print. This is a hand-blocked printed garment. Dry clean only.
Ajrakh is an ancient technique of hand block printing originating in Sindh, where the fabric is printed by wooden blocks in a series of multiple steps using natural or vegetable dyes. The original designs or motifs are characterised by geometric patterns resembling Islamic grid architecture. One of the most oldest form of hand block printing known to us.
